R&D prototype

What we are building in secret.

Owl Claw, from cloud to the field

Illustrative scenario
  1. Step 1 of 6

    Owl Claw, your remote pentest.

A DMC DEFENSE research prototype. We run it from our own premises; out in the field, it takes position where a site’s security truly plays out, beyond the screens.

  2. Step 2 of 6

    A discreet form.

Owl Claw takes the shape of a lightweight sensor. What is Owl Claw? A small sensor you can carry anywhere, bringing the power of the cloud with you.

  3. Step 3 of 6

    A unit that keeps nothing.

Nothing is stored on board. The unit relays everything to Owl AI, our server; all the computing power stays with us.

  4. Step 4 of 6

    Crossing a secured perimeter.

Carried by a light drone, the sensor flies over fences and guarded entrances to land as close to the site as it can.

  5. Step 5 of 6

    Or placed within range.

It can also simply sit outdoors, near the site, within listening range of its networks.

  6. Step 6 of 6

In range, we go on the attack.

Once in place, Owl AI runs attacks from our servers on the surrounding devices, to reveal the flaws before a real attacker does.

How it works

The sensor stores nothing and computes nothing on board: it makes its radio interfaces available to Owl AI, our server, over an encrypted tunnel on a cellular link. From our servers, Owl AI then runs simultaneous attacks on every device around: laptops, connected objects (IoT), wifi equipment. The sensor itself only relays.

What we are exploring

No data stored on board. Computing stays remote, on our infrastructure.
